Our North Carolina 4-H Camps & Centers are now hiring for our 2024 summer camp season. All seasonal summer camp positions are now posted on NC State University’s employment web page, with links to each specific position below. We have various opportunities at our three camp and conference centers across the state, Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center, Eastern 4-H Center, and Millstone 4-H Camp.kids crabbing on eastern center's dock

For summer camp cabin counselors and activity instructors, compensation begins at $300/week for new staff, plus room and board during the camp week. Returning staff are paid additional amounts based on tenure. Specialized positions, such as our new Temporary Youth Mental Health Professional, pay even more.
