Barbara Lovingood wins Best in Show with Labyrinth Quilt
Barbara Lovingood is a long time member of the Grape Creek Homemakers Extension Community Association and currently serves as treasurer for the Cherokee County ECA. Many ladies from the Grape Creek Homemakers encouraged Lovingood to enter a quilt into the Cultural Arts Competition, which is held annually at West District ECA Day. Lovingood is known for her skilled quilting and vibrant quilts.

Winning “Best in Show” out of all entries at the Cultural Arts Contest, the “Labyrinth Walk” quilt is a stunning piece of artwork. The quilt showcases varied shades of purple hues in geometric designs. The quilt was machine pieced and machine quilted. Lovingood says the quilt was made as a gift to her daughter.
