It’s no secret that internet scams are a threat to our online population.

As hard as we work to stay vigilant against those who want to steal from us, the scammers work harder. However, when you learn the patterns and tactics that are used day in and day out by internet scammers, you can identify a scam before it takes its toll.

Join us at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Cherokee County Center meeting room at 699 Conaheeta St. as we discuss the most popular internet scams and how to not fall victim to them. The seminar is on October 24th at 2 p.m.

An EventBrite signup page can be found by clicking here. You may also call 828-837-2210 ext. 6 or email to sign up.
