Collapse ▲We are so excited that the Hiwassee Dam Soaring Eagles 4-H Club is going to be meeting again!!! In March of 2020, COVID-19 shut all of our in person 4-H Club meetings down. Two of our county 4-H clubs have started meeting again and a third is opening up on March 31, 2022, the Hiwassee Dam Soaring Eagles 4-H Club.
Join us on March 31, at 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., in Debbie Sanders room at Hiwassee Dam Elementary School for our first meeting of the Soaring Eagles 4-H Club. The club is open to youth ages 5-18 and focuses on community service and participating in “learn by doing” activities. If you would like to enroll your child ahead of time please visit, NC 4-HOnline Enrollment System. If your child was enrolled in 2020 please re-enroll them for 2022. 4-H members must re-enroll in January every year to keep their membership active. If your child attends 21st Century After School, they are allowed to attend. They need to check in with 21st Century and then will be met at the after school classroom by Shannon Coleman, 4-H Agent for Cherokee County, or Lynn Hamby, our 4-H volunteer leader for the club.
