PPE is available for farmers for pesticide use and farmworkers from the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cherokee County Center. Cloth masks, face shields, and disposable coveralls (large and extra-large coveralls) are now available. Masks are in packs of 5 and can be washed up to fifteen  times. Priority for face shields and coveralls will be given to farmers for pesticide use and masks can be provided to farmers, farmworkers, and Agri-tourism businesses. I can provide up to 5 packs (25 masks) for farmers for themselves and their farmworkers. Three face shields and two pairs of disposable coveralls can be provided to farmers for pesticide use.

If you need some PPE supplies, please call Douglas Clement at 828-837-2210, Extension 3, and leave a message if I am not in the office. I can also be reached by email me at doug_clement@ncsu.edu.edu.
