We are excited to offer “Define Your Vision: Lead the Way!” a Virtual Teen Retreat on Thursday, June 4th, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Youth will participate in two fun workshops, meet fellow 4-Hers, and elect new district officers, as well as, dance and create a little. We have an exciting event planned!
1. All youth must be registered by a parent/legal guardian in this Google Form.
2. The 4-H Agent is responsible for collecting payment from participants in their county. The registration fee of $12 covers the t-shirt and cost of distribution. In Cherokee County, please contact Shannon Coleman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 828-837-2210 ext 4.
3. The 4-H Agent will register their youth and adult delegates from their county.
4. The WD 4-H Teen Retreat Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants by 1:00 p.m. on June 4.
Paperwork: 4-H Agents will receive updates on who is registered from their county. Please make sure that you are registered as an enrolled 4-H’er in 4-H Online. We need everyone to be official 4-H members in order to vote for officers.
The Google form fulfills our requirement to collect agreements to two legal documents: (1) North Carolina 4-H Youth Development Program Liability Waiver, Assumption of the Risk, Photo & Media Release, and Indemnification Agreement, and (2) North Carolina 4-H Program Expectations & Parental Permission.
Zoom Link: We will send the Zoom link & password to everyone registered on the day of Virtual Teen Retreat.
Attire: Dress is casual, and even though this event is virtual keep dress 4-H appropriate at all times. Remember youth that you are representing Cherokee County and West District 4-H while at Teen Retreat so be sure to uphold appropriate dress at all times during the event.
Everyone is encouraged to show their WD 4-H spirit by wearing fun 4-H attire, clovers, and green!
