The North Carolina Agromedicine Institute will be offering a free CPR, AED, and First Aid Training in Cherokee County Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Extension Education Annex in Murphy, NC.  Training will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 noon.  The topics will include:

• Life-saving CPR skills.
• Directions for AED use.
• First aid for severe bleeding control, burns, heat related illness, and other common agriculture injuries.

Sign up today thru Eventbrite for this class today as seats are limited and we expect them to go quickly.  We follow Cherokee County Schools policy related to cancelling classes due to snow.  If the class is cancelled due to snow, it will be rescheduled to Thursday, February 19, 2026.
