Cherokee County 4-Her's Having Fun at 4-H Camp

Cherokee County 4-H members Eli Setless and Clay Burrell are having a blast at Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center both are first time 4-H campers. This is also Shannon Coleman, 4-H Agent for Cherokee County's first time as a camper at Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center.

Eli is in the older youth program called Trekkers.  Clay is in the younger youth Traditional Camper group.  They have rode horses, canoed, swam in the pool, climbed the rock wall, participated in archery, arts and crafts, and much more.

Eli has been offsite with the Trekkers rafting on the Dan River and participating in an overnight camping trip.  Clay has been at BJP having a blast at the camp.

Cherokee County 4-H has one more 4-H camp that youth will attend in July. 4-H members will be at Millstone 4-H Center for the Fur, Fish and Game Camp held July 17-27.
