Give the gift of 4-H Camp to a child for Christmas!!   Summer 2022 will be here before you know it and so will our great opportunities for youth to join in some fun at one of our three great 4-H Camps!!

NC 4-H Camps are great but funds are needed to help support youth going to camp.  Participant cost for camp is $500 for a week long traditional 4-H camp and Cherokee County 4-H would appreciate any help the community would like to give on sending youth to 4-H Camp.  Any donations are welcome including donations for transportation and the camp store.

For more than 80 years, North Carolina 4-H camping has taught youth life skills through centers located from the mountains to the sand hills to the coast. Each year, more than 4,000 campers from across the state participate in 4-H camping programs at North Carolina’s 4-H educational centers. Thousands more participate in conferences, school enrichment programs, special events, and workshops.

We are gearing up for our 2022 4-H camping season and recruiting youth to attend camp.

While our 4-H camps and conference centers are each uniquely different based on their geographic location, each camp and conference center offers most of the same activities and resources, including: Archery, Cabins, Campfires, Canoeing, Challenge Courses, Climbing Walls, Dining Halls, Hiking Trails, Outdoor Education, Nature Study, Recreation Halls, Team building, and uniquely different Waterfronts.
