A two day Bee School will be held March 25 and April 15. The program is being offered thru a partnership with the Appalachian Beekeepers Club, Extension Master Gardeners℠, and N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cherokee County Center. This workshop is for first time beekeepers or anyone who has an interest in bees. Topics covered will include Bee Biology and Anatomy, Types of Bees, Where To Get Bees, Hives, Hive Gear, and much more. March 25 will be classroom instruction and April 15 will be a day with the bees.
