Loom knitting is an accessible and enjoyable technique, making it perfect for participants of all ages. Marlana Baker demonstrated the basics of loom knitting, ensuring that each participant felt confident in creating their unique hats.
The children explored various loom knitting techniques, from making a slip knot to casting on and creating stitches. There was much encouragement as the young crafters worked diligently to bring their visions to life. A special thank you goes out to Betty Hampton, expert fiber crafter and ECA volunteer, who provided technical assistance to participants during the workshop.
