Volunteers are the key to our success in the North Carolina 4-H program. Whether you’re interested in becoming a club leader or have a few hours to invest, we have challenging and fun roles for adults and teens who want to make a difference.
Volunteer for 4-H in 2026
Cherokee County 4-H is looking for adults who would like to share their talents or spark with youth in our community. Your spark may be fishing and hiking or hunting and trapping. We are looking for you. Recently, our Cherokee on the Fly 4-H Club leader resigned due to time commitments to other activities, so we are looking for someone to help our youth find their spark in outdoor activities like fishing. We are hoping to find someone who enjoys outdoor activities and wants to share that with the youth in our community.
If you have other talents other than outdoor activities, please contact me, Shannon Coleman, about volunteering with one of our other 4-H clubs or even starting a club of your own.
