Send Your Local Mountain State Fair Entries via the Pony Express

(Updated: Aug. 20, 2024, 6:13 p.m.)
The Pony Express is a free service provided by the NC Mountain State Fair and the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Centers.  The week before the fair, the Pony Express will be coming to the counties, especially the far outlying counties, to pick up entries for the fair.  The entries will be brought to the fairgrounds, processed and displayed.  Then the week after the fair closes, the Pony Express will bring the entries back to the Extension Centers.

width "358" x height "463"

The entries must be entered online by August 23 and brought to the extension centers by 11:30 am that day. Make sure they have a printed copy of their entry form. Click here for entry forms and more information about the Mountain State Fair.

Non-perishable items need to be wrapped and packaged securely for transport.  The box should be labeled with their name and county and a copy of their entry form should be included in the box.

So all you 4H'ers, ECA members, students, and family and friends please enter. Last year they had entries from 12 counties, 61 exhibitors, and 158 entries! Let's help them beat that record!
