This year we will feature another great lineup of speakers on various topics including, insect pest management in ornamental plantings, including Fraser firs and other conifers, NC climate & weather, premergence herbicides for glyphosate-resistant horseweed, and more. Speakers inlcude, Dr. Kelly Oten, NCSU; Dr. JC Chong, SePro; Mrs. Allison Whitaker, NC Climate Office.

Cultural Practices to Reduce Soil-borne Pathogens.
Join Inga Meadows, NC State Herbaceous Ornamental Pathologist, for this one-hour presentation on cultural practices in ornamental greenhouse production to reduce soil-borne pathogens. Inga will also discuss Phytophthoras and their effect on greenhouse ornamentals.

Poinsettia Growers Open House
Homewood Nursery cordially invites you to the Growers Open House to see poinsettia varieties from Selecta, Dummen, Orange, Beekenkamp, Lazzari, Rhinehart, and Graft. This event will give growers and breeders a chance to view poinsettia varieties and discuss production with growers at Homewood Nursery.
