ECA: Sit & Knit Group
Sit & Knit is an inclusive community fiber arts group for Cherokee County. This is an open membership Extension Community Association, meeting every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 1-3pm, and every 4th Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Extension Meeting Room, located at 699 Connahetta Street, Murphy. People from all areas of Cherokee County come together with their portable craft projects to socialize, learn new skills, and create various items (some of which members will donate at the end of each year as part of a volunteer effort to assist others in the community. Knitting and Crochet instruction is available upon request.
