Volunteers are the keys to our success in the North Carolina 4-H program. Whether you’re interested in becoming a club leader, or just have a few hours to invest, we’ve got challenging and fun jobs for adults and teens who want to make a difference. Volunteers guide 4-H members in becoming productive citizens, outstanding communicators, effective leaders, and successful learners.

Our local 4-H clubs are meeting again in person and we would love to have some new volunteers ready to start new clubs as club leaders or even volunteers that want to help existing clubs. If you don’t want to be the leader but want to help a club already going, we may have a place for you as well. We will need some volunteers for some of our school enrichment programs as well. So if you have a heart for kids and hands for service, please contact Shannon Coleman by email shannon_coleman@ncsu.edu or by phone 828-837-2210 ext. 4 to get more information on how to become a 4-H volunteer.
