[View COVID-19 Updates from Administration]

COVID-19 has disrupted our lives and work routines and has left many of us feeling disconnected. To help with that, we are continuing our series of CALS Virtual Town Hall Meetings this week.

These online sessions will include brief updates from Academic Programs, Research and Extension, with the bulk of the time dedicated to answering questions and addressing concerns. Dean Richard Linton will oversee the forum.

Questions can be submitted in advance at go.ncsu.edu/COVID19Questions. All sessions will be recorded and shared on the CALS Employee Portal for viewing at your convenience.

Schedule for Virtual Town Hall Meetings

We have scheduled six initial sessions this week to facilitate personalized, localized discussions, helping ensure everyone’s voice will be heard. This will also allow CALS and Extension leadership more time to focus on our community’s specific on- and off-campus questions.

CALS Virtual Town Hall

Note that this Zoom session has a max participant limit of 500 – please plan on joining early. If you would like to listen to the discussion without submitting feedback via the chat feature – or if you’re unable to access the Zoom session – we encourage you to tune in on the YouTube live-stream we have set up as an overflow option.

Thursday, April 9 – 9 to 10 a.m.

  • Zoom link (this link will take participants to the webinar on April 9): go.ncsu.edu/CALSTownHall
On the Sign In screen, click the “Sign In With SSO” button, and on the next screen, enter “ncsu” (with no punctuation), and then click “Continue.” You will be directed to a browser window to log in with your Unity ID credentials.
  • YouTube Live: https://youtu.be/ILvnszZu44Q
Note that the YouTube link will not work until the webinar has started. Also, participants will not have the option to chat or submit questions via YouTube; this is an option for employees who wish to listen in without sharing real-time feedback.

Upcoming Dates

  • Friday, April 17
  • Thursday, April 23
  •
More details will be shared about these sessions as we get closer to the dates.
