On Wednesday Dec 5th starting at 1:00 p.m., the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service will be partnering with NC Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Section to offer Pesticide Applicator Exams at the Cherokee County Extension Office in the downstairs conference room. Both Private and Commercial Pesticide License exams will be offered. Private Applicators are those who intend to use Restricted Use Pesticides on their own farm or property. Commercial Applicators are those who purchase and apply any pesticides for hire or compensation. There will be a review from 10-12 a.m. before the exam for private applicators and the core part of the exam for commercial. Study Manuals for each categories are available online. Private applicators will need only the core manual and commercial will need the core manual and a manual for each category of licenses you wish to take.
