Organic Vegetable Gardening

N.C. Cooperative Extension is offering a seminar on the basics of gardening organically. Topics will include methods on how to manage insects, diseases and weeds in the vegetable garden. The seminar will be held on Tuesday May 15th at the Center for Applied Technology (CAT) building in Marble from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Christina Newhouse, Agriculture & High Tunnel Specialist and organic farmer with Southwestern NC RC&D Council, will be sharing her vast knowledge and experience of organic gardening. Class registration fee is only $10 to cover materials. To register for this class or for more information contact the Cherokee County Cooperative Extension Center 837-2210.
