Vegetable Disease Identification and Control Options

Western NC Cooperative Extension Agents will be presenting a hands-on Intensive Vegetable Disease Workshop addressing major disease issues for commercial vegetable crops in our area. A variety of diseases, crops and management options (conventional and Organic) will be discussed, primarily focusing on major crops such as tomatoes, peppers, cucurbits, and brassicas. In addition to identifying some of the major diseases in our area, participants will receive spray schedules, learn IPM for vegetables, and learn about scouting and thresholds for mitigation.
