Calling All Local Youth and Family Gardeners
Do you have a garden with excess vegetables? Are you under 18 and would like to help your family make some extra money? Well come on out to the Mountain Folk Center’s weekly Farmers Market and you can sell for FREE!!
The Mountain Folk Center Farmer’s Market’s is open every Saturday. Youth can bring fresh produce, handmade soaps, jewelry, small livestock animals like chickens or rabbits, woodcrafts, honey, and much more. All items have to be locally grown and produced. Sellers from neighboring counties and states are welcome to sell but it must be produced on your farm or hand crafted by you, no reselling.
Of course adults are welcome to come and sell as well every Saturday morning! Cost is $5 per space and all spaces are covered. Please bring your own table.
The market is located at 9275 US Highway 64 West, Murphy, NC. The market is approximately 9 miles west from downtown Murphy, at the Mountain Folk Center. The market is open every Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., rain or shine. We will be open June thru the end of August, 2016.
