Registration – $10, includes workshop and lunch

A variety trial of melons, squash and cucumbers is being conducted in NY, NC, and AL this summer and the following two years. The trial has been developed to determine resistance to Downy Mildew, Striped Cucumber Beetles and viruses which will support the breeding of resistant varieties and generate a resource for organic grower variety selection. The field day will share the initial results and help build your skills and knowledge around seed breeding, saving, and processing. (Insert registration info). This project is funded through the USDA’s Organic Research and Extension Initiative and is coordinated by Cornell University in partnership with the Organic Seed Alliance, NCSU, and Auburn University.
